Bulletin for the 27th Sunday of Ordinary Time

Good morning,

Please join us this weekend for the World Day of Migrants and Refugees. The Refugee Outreach Committee will hold a large role in the Masses, as well as hold an event after Mass on Sunday. Even if you haven’t registered, please join. Please consider a contribution to their sponsorship and settlement work through the QR codes in your pews, guest envelopes, or details at the back of the Bulletin.

Also check out our October engagement survey, free books, fundraisers, and more. Have a great weekend ahead!

Bulletin: 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Good afternoon,

Please see our Bulletin, featuring community activities to take part in for the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. As an Oblate parish, it is our duty to meaningfully engage in reconciliation in all that we do. Please do your part for this necessary day, learning and experiencing, to further commit yourself to reconciliation. There is still room to take part in the KAIROS Blanket Exercise – please register in advance.

Please be advised that on Thursday, October 2, the parking lot here at St. Joe’s will be CLOSED to all staff, volunteers, and the general public for maintenance. There will be no weekday Mass or parish choir practice on this date.

Bulletin: 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Good afternoon,

Please see this weekend’s Bulletin, featuring a breadth of community events! This weekend, join us on Sunday after Mass for Hospitality Sunday — a time where all are invited to remain after Mass for coffee and baked goods. We also resume our Children’s Liturgy.

The Refugee Outreach Committee is proud to host an event in partnership with the Canadian Council of Refugees, in the Parish Hall on October 5th. Please see the Bulletin for details and to register. Reminder – the Blanket Exercise also requires your registration for attendance.

Also, find a novel initiative for parishioners supporting their family who just moved to Canada through a fundraiser selling preserves and baked goods. I can personally attest that I’ve gotten mine and they are well worth it!
