Good afternoon,

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a very Happy New Near to you! Please see attached our special Christmas Bulletin. Inside, you’ll find a message from our pastor, Parish Pastoral Council, Christmas wishes from various ministries, Christmas fun facts, upcoming parish events, and more.

On behalf of our parish team — staff and volunteers — across all our ministries, thank you for being a part of our vibrant parish which cares for the most vulnerable in society. Your participation and involvement is much appreciated and we are glad to have you with us.

Parish Bulletin for the 4th Sunday of Advent

Good afternoon,

Please see attached our Bulletin for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. We are once again inviting parishioners to contribute for a poinsettia in memory of a loved one. See the Bulletin for more details. Unsure what to get a friend or family for Christmas? Make a donation in honour of them!

Join us this Sunday, December 21 for the Festival of Lessons and Carols at 3pm. This tradition, stemming from the Anglican Church, tells the story of Christ’s birth through readings and song. Join us with a freewill donation to support St. Joe’s Supper Table, the only food bank and free meal programme operated by a church in the diocese of Ottawa-Cornwall!

This is our final Weekly Bulletin of the year, and they will return on Friday, January 9. We will, however, have a special Christmas Bulletin, distributed on Christmas Eve.

Please see attached our Bulletin for the coming weekend. Also, see below our Advent and Christmas Mass Schedule. Pick one up at the Welcome Desk so you know what’s happening this holiday season.

Our social service ministry, the St. Joe’s Women’s Centre, has a holiday silent auction running — please check it out and support a good cause while completing your shopping! This weekend, we will have missals available for purchase. See Mikayla at the back of the church to pick up your copy for only $6.

This weekend is the World Day of the Poor. Check out our Bulletin for resources. St. Joe’s is proud to offer multiple ministries that help those facing poverty.
