Spiritual Seekers

Spiritual Seekers        Mini Retreats

“We need to fall, to fail, and to jump into the mystery of our own existence, or we literally stay on the surface of life.” (Richard Rohr, OFM)

The Spiritual Seekers is a mini-retreat experience every month (except summer).  The retreat sessions provide a meaningful spiritual, scriptural or psychological teaching along with a communal experience of prayer, time for personal silence and reflection and shared meals. Based on the spiritual threads of the likes of Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM, each session explores new pathways to identity and freedom in the mystery of God, inviting awakening to our Christ-Self.  Our language is Christian but we see it as complementary and non-competitive with seekers on all paths.

When:    2nd (or 3rd) Saturday of the month, from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm (with optional pot-luck lunch)

Where:   Usually at St. Joe’s but it can move around the city. Watch the bulletin for details.

Time Commitment:  3 hours per Saturday retreat

There is no charge for the series, though freewill offerings are appreciated.  A free lending library allows people to catch up on missed talks or borrow other presentations (DVD or CD) and books.
