We learned early this morning in an email from the Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Ottawa that all Masses in the Archdiocese of Ottawa have been cancelled for 14/15 March 2020. As such, Saturday 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Masses are cancelled at St. Joseph’s Parish. Weekday noon Masses on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will continue. The Archdiocese has yet to make a public announcement on the matter but given the very short notice and after having met this morning with Fr. Jim and Jamie Loback, we would ask that you let your contacts in the St. Joe’s community know. I will be posting this information to the Parish website and to Facebook momentarily. The Front Office will be sending out emails to those on our email list as well.

Parish offices will be open for regular hours on Monday, March 16, 2020. The status of weekday Parish operations, including the Supper Table, the Women’s Centre and general administration will be reassessed this Monday and we expect to have further updates soon.
