Prepare for the mass reflecting on the readings, reading commentaries and taking time to get to know the readings;
REGULAR WEEKEND MASSES
Saturday Evening 5pm This is a small friendly community gathering where all are welcome. This community often offers potluck suppers through the year and with a more intimate size you may find it easier to meet people. There is an active choir and everyone is encouraged to sing.
Sunday Morning 9:30am This mass is very family orientated with a liturgy of the word for children on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and an upstairs children's liturgy on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Children can participate in the opening procession and every effort is made to provide a safe, prayerful and welcoming place for the whole family. It is a little noisy. There is afamily choir that meets to rehearse at 9am prior to the mass and instruments are welcome.
Sunday Morning 11:30am This mass is made up of all age groups, from young families, young adults, to those who are retired. This mass is our largest gathering and every effort is made to greet new members and help them to become part of the community. The choir is a SATB choir who rehearse every Thursday night at 7:15pm and again at 10:30am prior to mass.
Sunday Evening 7:30pm This mass is attended by all age groups, but its specific intent is to reach out to the university community. The mass is informal and lead by the Oblate Formation Community. After each mass we have a social, and time to share the week's struggles, questions or the latest political news. WEEKDAY MASSES
Wednesday through Friday at 12 noon. Seasonal Mass Times will be posted accordingly.
ADORATION
Every First Friday after the noon mass. Every Friday during Advent and Lent. Join us for prayer, spend an hour in meditation in communion with others for the needs of the world and deepening our relationship with Christ.
MY LITTLE CHURCH is a sacred space for small children to find prayerful toys while the parents sit close by during mass.
LITURGY OF THE WORD WITH CHILDREN is coordinated by Petra Hughes and serves the 9:30am mass community on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. On the 3rd Sunday of the month at the 9:30am mass there is a children's homily. The Children's Liturgy team also have a Family Bulletin that is produced periodically click here to view the latest.
