Mark your calendars! St. Joseph’s will celebrate it’s 160th Anniversary on the weekend of Nov 26/27. To commemorate this momentous occasion, we will be hosting an International Day Festival on Saturday, the Saturday. St. Joe’s has always been welcoming and we want to showcase the many cultures that thrive within our community and throughout the City of Ottawa.

A dozen cultural groups, including embassies and community organizations from around the world, will be on-hand to share food, art, and their unique culture. There will also be a raffle for great prizes donated by our many generous sponsors, including The National Arts CentreClub EGThe Lord ElginKeihl’s, Loblaws, Bytowne Cinema, and our very own pastor. Admission is by free-will donation with all proceeds going towards the “Raise the Roof” campaign to repair our roof.

St. Joe’s will also be hosting a table of its own, where parishioners can sample food from their own culture, or just something they enjoy making. If you would like to contribute to this table, please contact Office Manager, Brandon Rushton at or 613-233-4095, Ext. 251.

Join us for an afternoon of fun and don’t forget to attend the Anniversary Mass and Reception at 10:30am on Sunday, Nov. 27. More details to come!
